The"St.Teodosii Tyrnovski" award
Rules

The Balkan Contest Club takes pleasure in issuing the award. This award is issued to any licensed radio amateur who submits proof of two-way radio contacts with members of Balkan Contest Club and LZ amateur radio stations. Applicants from Europe must submit proof of QSO's with 100 points (for any DX's - 50 points). Twenty of these points must be contacts with different Balkan Contest Club members or calls or stations from Veliko Tyrnovo (for any DX's - 10 points). Submission of QSL cards is not required. All contacts must be dated January 1, 2000 or later. Lists submitted should be in alphabetical order with date and time in GMT. The fee for the Award is 3 EUR ( 5 US dollars) or 10 IRC's. LZ130LO
special event station
award

Members of the Balkan Contest Club LZ1KZA (LZ5A) will actiavte the special event callsign LZ130LO from January 1st to March 31st (2008).

Activity is to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the liberation of Bulgaria from Ottoman yoke by Russia. QSL to LZ1KZA via Bureau.

A special award will be issued: European stations must establish 5 two-way contacts with LZ130LO on different bands or different modes,
(for DX stations - 3 contacts).
The same rules are for SWLs.

The fee for the Award is 5 EUROs or 10 IRCs.

Amateur radio stations from Russia and countries whose solders took part in Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878, like part of the Russian army will receive the award free of charge. These countries are: Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine.

For these 14 countries the awards will be sent to their national QSL Bureaus.

Also, a QSO with LZ130LO counts for 10 points towards the
"St. Teodosii Tyrnovski Award"
